Both the SNAP Health Center Records suite and the Health Center components can be purchased either as standalone or networked systems. Networking allows simultaneous
users to access a single SNAP database containing all students in the district. This stores the database on the server, which provides additional
security and easier backup capability. Networking increases SNAP Health Center’s functionality to include district wide reports, shared
libraries/templates, simplified year-end processing and transferring students within the school year.
SNAP Satellite is the first software designed specifically for school nurses to reference and document student health and demographic data on a
handheld personal digital assistant (PDA). SNAP Satellite works in unison with SNAP Health Center. This software provides you the freedom
and mobility to record visits, screenings and activities on the go. At the end of the day, a simple hot synch transfers all the data from your PDA to your
desktop/laptop computer. There is no need to learn new software because it mirrors the functions and the security of SNAP Health Center!
